Art for Months

THE KITCHEN SINK

For me the kitchen sink has been difficult to face.  I have wanted other people to take care of my dishes like when I was little.  It feels grown up to wash dishes myself and to do them with a good attitude.  The sinks in these illustrations include my sink, my sisters', and my son and daughter-in-law's.  I have painted more, but I chose these to fit the 12 limit.  Like with the LAUNDRY, painting the kitchen sink helped me to see art and beauty.  Some people did not want me to take pictures of their kitchen sink.   I tried to tell them it was art.   -Linda
