This was a painting I did long ago while I was longing for the front hall to be finished. It was a seven-year renovation project that my husband and I did together. Since then we have often said, "No more projects!" Our ADHD probably hindered our progress. For me painting this helped me to accept and appreciate that it was what it was. It was art. It was evidence of where we were as a family-- at that moment. We had two young active children and a life to live away from the front hall. It became okay that it was a mess for a long time. It did get done--or should I say done enough. Life goes on. Thank you, God!
